We have two dogs, Archie and Cara, who although not officially allowed in the guest accommodation, seem to turn up anywhere they can scrounge some food or maybe just a pat. We are also able to accommodate small well-behaved dogs as visitors at a nominal cost.

Welcome to Cheadle
Lying just to the West of Alton, Cheadle is a picturesque and bustling small market town with a history dating from the Doomsday book. It has a good range of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The market square and covered arcade have been recently refurbished and market days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In the High Street there are some pleasant 18th and 19th century houses and an old three-gabled timbered Tudor house that is now a coffee shop.

Whilst here take the opportunity to visit St. Giles church, extravagant Gothic-revival structure designed by Pugin, the architect of the Houses of Parliament.

We are fortunate to have the main leisure centre for the Moorlands area which is only a few hundred metres from the guest house. There is a large swimming pool, gym, squash courts and sports hall for badminton etc.

Park View Guest House was established in 1962 and has a lively spring and summer season attracting families and visitors to Alton Towers as well as walkers and holiday makers in the Peak District and surrounding countryside.
